DAILY DEVOTIONAL

God Is Your Vindicator

Joyce Meyer 33

Do yourself a favor right now as you enter this new year and refuse to remain angry or bitter. God has good things planned for us, and we don’t want to miss them by refusing to let go of things in the past.

Do yourself a favor right now as you enter this new year and refuse to remain angry or bitter.

God Is Your Vindicator | Daily Devotional by Joyce Meyer

For we know Him who said, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord. And again, “The Lord will judge His people.” Hebrews 10:30 (NKJV)

In order to begin this new year properly, it is important not to enter it with any kind of bitterness or unforgiveness in our heart.

It is unlikely that any one of us has made it through an entire year without being hurt by someone, but we only continue letting what they have done hurt us if we don’t forgive them.

Ask yourself if you are angry with anyone for anything, and if you are, ask God to help you forgive, forget, and let it go.

God is our Vindicator and if we will allow Him to, He will repay us for every injustice that has been done to us. In my life, I have learned that anger is something we should never carry around with us.

God’s Word says that we should not let the sun set on our anger, and if we do, then we give the devil a foothold in our lives (see Ephesians 4:26–27).

Do yourself a favor right now as you enter this new year and refuse to remain angry or bitter. God has good things planned for us, and we don’t want to miss them by refusing to let go of things in the past. Start the new year with a peaceful heart and be determined to enjoy each day.

Prayer: Father, help me forgive everyone who has hurt me in the past year, and if I have hurt anyone, please help them forgive me.

My Time With God

Joyce Meyer
God’s Word is extremely powerful and it contains the power to renew our minds and change us into the image of Jesus Christ. I trust that as you read and study this devotional you will experience a new intimacy with our Lord.
When we try to go through life without God’s Word, it can feel a bit like walking down that dark, deserted country road.

DAILY DEVOTIONAL

A Light Our Path

Taylor Bennett
If you feel like you’ve been walking in the dark lately, turn to the Lord and dig into the Bible. Not only will you find God’s encouragement and truth on every page, but you’ll also.
Each of us has a primary love language; one of the five speaks to us more profoundly than the other four.

Communicating Love

Gary Chapman
Seldom do a husband and wife have the same love language. We tend to speak our own language, and as a result, we completely miss each other. Oh, we’re sincere. We’re even expressing love, but we’re not connecting emotionally.
God can use us wherever we go

Priscilla And Aquila

Randy Petersen and Robin Shreeves
Moving through the new testament, you can’t get far without meeting Priscilla and her husband, aquila. they’re mentioned in acts 18 and in three different epistles. even more amazing, we find them in three different cities.
Painful though it may be for us to admit, we’re losing touch with one another. The motivation to help, to encourage, yes, to serve our fellow human beings is waning.

What’s God up to in Your Life?

Charles R. Swindoll
Maybe you’ve never stopped to consider what “His purpose” is. Briefly put, God is committed to one major objective in your life: to conform you into “the image of His Son.” One of the many ways I’ve seen Him do that is through interaction with others.
